Christopher Keenan, HS-BCP LADC LPC
After 25 years of public service as a park ranger and manager with both the federal and state governments, Chris now brings his experience to the counseling profession as a dual licensed practitioner. An Accredited Member of the International Association of Logotherapy and Existential Analysis, he also holds a Diploma in Addiction Studies from the Viktor Frankl Institute of Ireland and utilizes meaning-centered treatment and challenges his clients through the application of archetypes, myth, metaphors and the personal hero technique. Chris is currently the program director of a residential addiction treatment program here in Connecticut and provides individual therapy for Stokes Counseling Services via online telehealth services only. In addition to his clinical work, Chris is an Adjunct Professor of Human Services at Southern New Hampshire University and a Human Services Board Certified Practitioner. Chris is a graduate of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and holds a BS in Criminal Justice from John Jay College, a MS in Counseling from Post University and an Executive Certificate in Criminal Justice from Liberty University where he is completing his doctorate.
Please note that Chris is unable to see any client in private therapy who has been engaged with MCCA within the past three years.
